Martina Smidt Martina completed a Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Physiology at the Queensland University of Technology in 2013. As an Accredited Exercise Physiologist and a member of Exercise and Sports Science Australia, Martina is one of the newer additions to the Yamba and Maclean Physiotherapy team. She has experience working with elite athletes, including rowers, triathletes, ironman, rugby league players and junior tennis players. Her clinical experience at various practical locations enabled her to work with many people suffering from chronic disease and life altering conditions. During undergraduate studies, she developed a keen interest in neurological disorders, spinal cord injuries and cardiovascular rehabilitation. Martina previously taught certificates III and IV in Fitness, whilst working as a personal trainer and strength and conditioning coach in Brisbane.
