Lucy is a Clinical Psychologist who
has previously worked across diverse government and non-government sectors including alcohol and other drug treatment settings, correctional settings and not-for-profit organisations.
Lucy has clinical experience working with adults and adolescents who experience a range of concerns including; anxiety and depression, relationship issues, problematic substance use, low self-esteem and trauma. She has a particular interest in alcohol and other drug issues, trauma and women’s reproductive health.
Lucy privileges the therapeutic relationship. She takes a warm, approachable and client centred approach to treatment with the aim of supporting clients on their individual journey towards personal growth and well-being. Drawing upon interpersonal psychodynamic processes, Lucy works with the ‘whole person’, and carefully considers the context, environment and history of clients presenting difficulties. Other evidence-based treatment modalities utilised include cognitive behavioural, solution focused, acceptance and commitment and mindfulness based interventions.
