Lauren Newland brings over a decade of experience working with children of all ages and abilities to the Paeds in a Pod practice. As a mother herself, Lauren understands the importance of raising a healthy and happy child, and ensuring they have the best opportunities in life. Through her time at the Royal Children’s Hospital and the Mater Children’s Hospital in Brisbane, she has worked with infants in special care nurseries and neonatal intensive care units – yet her experience extends right through to managing the healthy development of teenagers and young adults.

Lauren graduated from Griffith University with a Bachelor of Exercise Science (2005) and a Masters of Physiotherapy (2007) and worked early in her career with the Cerebral Palsy League of Queensland (CPL) and Disability Services Queensland (DSQ), and currently maintains a position with the Gold Coast Child Development Service (CDS).

Lauren is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association and Paediatric Special Interest Group. She is an NDIS Registered Provider, Better Start approved, and a CAEATI approved prescriber.
