Lauren has worked for a number of years within the fields of female mental health, substance abuse, trauma and adjustment issues, with both adults and adolescents. In particular, Lauren has supported clients experiencing difficulties with forensic issues, substance abuse, trauma, PTSD, personality disorders and depression and anxiety. She prefers to work collaboratively with her clients, assisting them to develop skills to better manage their lives successfully and independently. Lauren has experience in delivering treatment via psychodynamic, motivational interviewing, CBT and ACT modalities, in long and short term treatment. Lauren was motivated to become a psychologist to arm people with the skills to direct the course of their own life and find contentment within.
