Laura Gardner is a clinical psychologist registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency APRHA and a Member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) College of Clinical Psychologists. Laura has a Master of Clinical Psychology (graduated in 2006) as well as a Graduate Diploma in Child Psychotherapy. Laura has worked in community health settings and has been in private practice since 2008. Special interests include working with children, as well as anxiety and trauma recovery for adults.
Laura Gardner is Beaudesert Family Practice’s visiting psychologist. Laura can assist with a wide range of issues including: Depression and Anxiety, Phobias, Grief and Loss, Substance Abuse, Physical, Mental and Sexual Abuse Recovery, Trauma, Parenting Issues, Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties in Young People, General Mental Health.
Laura’s treatment approach includes: Cognitive behavioural therapy, mindfulness training, interpersonal therapy as well as assertiveness skill training, relaxation, stress and anger management, and communication skills.
