Kate provides parents with evidence-based strategies to improve their children’s skills, giving them confidence to participate in activities important to them. Working in collaboration with child and family, Kate helps to develop practical and functional treatment plans which can be incorporated into their daily lives. Highly adaptable in her approach, Kate works to ensure the best possible outcome for each patient’s individual need. Most recently she has focused on children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental delays, including toilet training, feeding and mealtime challenges in earlier years, as well as social and behavioural difficulties within school and play. Kate completed her Bachelor of Occupational Therapy at the University of Queensland in 2012 and is currently completing Master of Education in Applied Behaviour Analysis at Monash University.
