Kate Day is a Clinical Psychologist who brings enthusiasm, a great sense of humour, honesty and non-judgemental genuine regard to her clinical practice. She believes it takes great courage to seek support and strives to help her clients find their voice by creating a safe and supportive environment, whilst encouraging skill development and growth to attain treatment goals. Her therapeutic approach is direct, pragmatic and outcomes-focused.

Kate has experience working across the lifespan, with a special interest in young adults (18 - 35), executives, anxiety disorders and individuals wishing to improve their relationships. Drawing on her previous work in business management, Kate has experience in facilitating training for organisations and working with individuals to better manage workplace stress, improve their communication, goal setting and productivity skills.

Kate has also worked at headspace, as a School Psychologist/Guidance Counsellor and in private practice on the Gold Coast.

​Kate currently provides evidence-based interventions in Brisbane both face to face and via telehealth.

Kate utilises various evidence-based approaches in her work, including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention, Interpersonal Therapy, Dialectic Behavioural Therapy, Emotionally-Focussed Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
