Name
Ms Holly Hitchener
Occupation
Exercise Physiologist
Gender
Female

I chose to study Exercise Physiology because I really enjoyed Futsal and Soccer as both a player and coach. After the impact an exercise physiologist had on my experience in sport, I really wanted to help others in the same way. My degree taught me that exercise is about a lot more than sport and although I still love working with athletes, I really believe that exercise should be part of everyone’s lifestyle. Holly graduated with a Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Physiology from the Queensland University of Technology in 2017. She has experience in strength and conditioning and teaching clinical Pilates. Holly has also been exposed to the world of elite sport after completing a high-performance internship with the Brisbane Roar A-League team for the 2016-2017 season. Her experience in neurological and neuromuscular rehabilitation led Holly to develop an interest in this area of Exercise Physiology. She also enjoys seeing the great results specialised exercise prescription has for individuals with conditions such as osteoporosis, cancer and for musculoskeletal rehabilitation.
