I have always valued health and well being, enjoyed being active and played many sports, mainly netball and hockey, however more recently I have moved away from team sport and currently focus on swimming and cycling. This value for health prompted me to become a Physio as I am passionate about helping others and know that physiotherapy was a positive way to do so. Initially I joined the Take Control team in 2012 during which time I completed my degree in Physiotherapy with first class honours at The University of Sydney. Since graduating I have gained broad experience in many areas of physiotherapy whilst working at the Prince of Wales Hospital. This has included experience post surgical rehabilitation and treatment of musculoskeletal injuries as well as rehabilitation of geriatric and neurological patients and also involved some time working in a rural setting which I really enjoyed. I believe that communication and education are the keys to effective client care. I always look forward to meeting new clients and working in partnership with them to achieve their full potential.
