My original qualifications are in Mathematics, Psychology & Education. My training has included many forms of counselling and change including cognitive and behavioural, narrative and experiential and approaches with individuals, families and couples. I studied and worked in career/vocational counselling, and I have designed and implemented creative projects with community groups. I have experience in dealing with complex workplace situations involving bullying and discrimination. I recently extended my professional skills at LaTrobe University (Master of Couple & Relationship Counselling) and the Dulwich Centre (Postgraduate Diploma in Narrative Therapy and Community Work), both courses highly relevant to my work with clients. I work with people who are dealing with very challenging problems in their lives including relationship and workplace problems. I draw on skills and knowledge from many areas as well as my learning from clients. Inviting client evaluation is part of my practice.
