Ms Elise Robinson (Psychologist)

Elise is a registered psychologist and a member of the Australian Psychological Society (MAPS). She has completed additional training and holds specialised endorsement within the area of forensic psychology.

Elise has had expertise working with adults and adolescents in clinical and forensic settings. She adopts a patient-centred approach and can collaboratively set goals and work with you individually regarding experiences with adjustment difficulties, depression and anxiety, relationship difficulties, substance use and emotion regulation troubles including anger. Elise has extensive experience in delivering motivational interventions and can work with you to determine if you would like to make change in areas that may be causing stress and pressure to you and your loved ones.

Elise prefers to work within sessions at a pace you will feel comfortable with and understands the importance of creating a safe and therapeutic space. She strives to assist clients in feeling empowered and taking control over their lives, and has supported many clients with making long term changes to lead their life to the fullest. Elise understands that feeling a sense of connection with a mental health professional is imperative in order to be supported to make change and feedback is consistently sought and encouraged to ensure the time spent with you can be tailored especially to your needs.

Elise has been trained in the use of many forms of evidenced based psychological therapy and primarily utilises, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), solution focussed, strengths and mindfulness based techniques.
