Eleni is a Clinical Psychologist (Registrar) with a Master of Clinical Psychology Degree from Curtin University. She works with children, adolescents and adults experiencing a range of psychological issues, including anxiety disorders, depression, obsessive compulsive disorder, adjustment difficulties, self-esteem issues, and behavioural and emotion regulation problems.
Eleni is committed to helping individuals live rich and meaningful lives. Her approach is collaborative, compassionate and non-judgmental, with treatment tailored to each individual. Clients will be empowered to gain an understanding of their difficulties and develop new skills and strategies for self-management.
Working within a safe and respectful environment, Eleni uses a range of evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) and Attachment models. She has considerable experience working collaboratively with GPs, parents and other health professionals to ensure holistic care.
Eleni has provided clinical psychology services in both private practice and the WA Department of Health. Her experience includes working with people affected by a diverse range of psychological difficulties in the context of acute and chronic medical conditions. She has also facilitated groups for children with social and emotion regulation difficulties, and conducted research on parents’ experiences of caring for a child with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.
