After working in the corporate world for several years surrounded by stress and unhealthy lifestyles provided Dr. Debby Cheung with the realisation to return to what drove her passion in life – making a difference to peoples’ lives by helping them become the truest and best versions of themselves. Dr. Debby Cheung believes that the ultimate goal is in preventative care where maintaining good health and wellbeing means people will become less susceptible to illness, recover faster, and their picture of health is intertwined into the fabric of their being.
Being a logical and realistic thinker who likes to lead by example, Dr. Debby Cheung utilises the ancient principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Acupuncture to remind the body of its self-healing abilities. With a particular interest and experience in treating women’s health conditions, Dr. Debby Cheung has helped clients to come off the oral contraceptive pill (OCP), regulate menstrual cycles, restore fertility to become pregnant, IVF support, as well as maintain and nurture pregnancy to the end with labour induction and into motherhood. Stress release and pain relief for musculoskeletal conditions is also at the foundation of her experience where she is often able to assist clients leave at the end of a treatment rejuvenated and changed for the better.
Treatments not only encompass TCM (Acupuncture, Cupping, Moxibustion, Chinese herbal medicinal pills /powders) but also lifestyle advice, exercise, and diet; ensuring the best of both worlds of East and Western medicine for optimum health. She is a member of the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA), Chinese Medicine Board of Australia (CMBA) and Australian Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine Association (AACMA).
