Danielle completed her Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics at the University of the Sunshine Coast after having completed a Bachelor of Education (Primary). She has also completed her National Paediatric Dietetic Training and loves working with children and their families to ensure they are growing up healthy and happy.
In addition to working with children and their families, Danielle has a special interest in helping people with diabetes improve their lives through food and nutrition. In particular, she adores working with expecting mums with Gestational Diabetes Mellitus as the impact nutrition can have on these ladies phenomenal! Danielle understands that each person is different and focuses on getting to know her patients to ensure the advice she gives is tailored and practical.
Outside of work, Danielle has two very loving and “very”active dogs that help keep her fit and healthy. Danielle loves to bake all types of yummy treats, she likes to experiment with traditional recipes and alter to see if healthier alternatives can be just as delicious. There are definitely still some traditional baking still happening in her kitchen, all things in moderation!
