Claire is a newly registered psychologist who is dedicated to providing a client-centered, empathetic approach to therapy. She prefers taking a holistic and collaborative approach with clients experiencing a range of metal health concerns, working to help them live a life that is in accordance with their values. Over the last three years, Claire has gained experience working with chldren, adolescents, adults and older adults across schools, private practice, and Alcohol and other Drug (AOD) services.
Claire’s areas of interest include helping clients overcome and manage anxiety, addiction, depression, adjustment difficulties, stress and childhood-related issues. Claire has been trained in several evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Strength-Based Therapy as well as mindfulness-based interventions.
Claire also has an interest in providing psychological services to children and adolescents experiencing school-based, behavioural and family issues, using play and narrative therapy. She has a particular passion for helping young people express themselves in a safe space.
