Chelsea is an Australian-based psychologist working at Positive Wellbeing Psychology. Chelsea as a psychologist is warm, caring and compassionate with a special interest in working with adults, children, adolescents and their families. Chelsea's clinical practice is guided by establishing a collaborative and dedicated approach to the achievement of positive change. Chelsea first seeks to establish forthright communication and trust with her clients in order to focus on building a strong therapeutic relationship. Chelsea works collaboratively with her clients to explore their therapeutic goals early on in therapy, adopting a client-centered approach to meet the clients’ identified goals and needs. Chelsea’s practice is informed by a range of evidence-based approaches, in particular drawing from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Solution Focused Therapy (SFT) and Mindfulness Meditation to achieve positive results for her clients. Chelsea is dedicated to the achievement of positive change for clients and the wider community, through accurate assessment, effective evidence-based treatment and collaborate engagement. Chelsea emphasises the importance of communicating with third parties including parents, teachers and other allied health professionals, to ensure her client is best positioned to achieve their therapeutic goals.

Chelsea is experienced in working with adults, children, adolescents and their families who may be experiencing a range of difficulties including depression, anxiety, school and university related stress, workplace stress, relationship challenges, adjustment difficulties, grief and loss, sleep difficulties, substance misuse, vocational counselling and goal setting. Chelsea has worked in a number of public and private settings, which have included schools, private practice and employment services. Chelsea has a special interest in working with children and their families. In particular, Chelsea has assisted children and their families address school-related issues, behavioural problems, adjustment issues, school-refusal and anxiety. Chelsea has previously worked within NDIS services, helping clients reduce the impact of anxiety and depression in their life. Chelsea is experienced working with clients, using tools and techniques which assist them in coping with challenges and to gradually help clients to increase their community engagement. Chelsea also supports her clients in using a range of social skills to further enhance their relationships with friends, family members and within the larger community.
