Allira graduated with a Bachelor of Exercise Science and Rehabilitation from UOW in 2010 and has worked in private practice as well as in the community setting for Sutherland Shire Leisure Centres coordinating the GP Exercise Referral Scheme. Allira grew up with an interest in trying all sports, predominantly netball and surf lifesaving. Allira believes that exercise can be a form of medicine and promotes lifestyle intervention for prevention and management of metabolic and other chronic conditions as well as for mental health and general wellness.
Allira enjoys working with Worker’s Compensation clients to ensure a safe return to work and minimise risk of re-injury. She also works well with elderly clients to maintain mobility and independence. Allira has additional training in Pilates and enjoys incorporating this into rehabilitation and lifestyle programs.
