Adriana Wheeler (née Camargo) has 13 years’ experience in Physiotherapy having graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2006 and then completing a Masters of Sports and Exercise Physiotherapy in 2012.
Adriana has extensive experience in a wide range of sports at club, state, national and international level and has worked with numerous local, state and National sporting teams including Australian men’s and women’s Waterpolo, Qld Softball, Women’s Roar and various Bodybuilding and Australian Powerlifting athletes. Adriana draws on her experience in the elite sporting world to deliver all of her clients a high level of individualised care.
Adriana believes in a multifactorial approach to improving her client’s quality of life and therefore will also incorporate Physiotherapy-based exercise prescription with the use of Reformers to assist patients reach their optimal health goals.
Her main interests are in Dry Needling, Chronic pain, Lower limb, Spinal Pain and Small group – individualised exercise sessions with reformers.
