lak completed his PhD in Chemical Engineering from Monash University in 1971. He worked for Commonwealth Government for four years in the department of Environment and Conservation. He worked in the State Pollution Control Commission for four years and a further 17 years in Environment and Planning.

Tilak qualified as an Acupuncturist in 1986 from the colleges of Acupuncture, Sydney. Therafter he spent one month in China to gain hands on practical experience .

In 1990 Tilak joined All Care Medical Centre in Hammondville as an acupuncturist.

In 1997 he furthered his skills by gaining a certificate in clinical hypnotherapy, attended massage courses at the Sydney’s Nature Care College and completed a certificate course in Specific Frequency Micro current.

Tilak specializes in pain management, having a high success rate in all the conditions mentioned on the Acupuncture Service page.

Tilak also spent some time in China learning to treat Stroke patients with Acupuncture , and found he achieved good results in stroke patients who had facial paralysis.

Tilak has come to realise that a significant number of injuries occur due to incorrect posture, especially during lifting, and sitting in front of a computer. During his treatments sessions he provides advise on correcting posture and rehabilitation exercises.
