Dr. Rodney Pattinson graduated from the University of Sydney in 1983. After residency training at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital he trained in the Sydney Orthopaedic Training Scheme.
After completing his formal orthopaedic training he gained further expertise in the treatment of children's orthopaedic disorders, trauma, and joint replacement at the Hospital for Sick Children, Great Ormond Street, London and the Princess Margaret Rose orthopaedic Hospital, Edinburgh, where he was the overseas orthopaedic Fellow.
Dr. Pattinson has several publications in paediatric orthopaedic literature and has a special interest in the management of leg length discrepancy in children and congenital hip dislocation.
Dr. Pattinson is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and a Fellow of the Australian Orthopaedic Association.
