Murray is a registered psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (MAPS). Murray has completed a Masters Psychology, Bachelor Psychology (Honours) and Graduate Diploma Psychology. Murray has considerable experience in the corporate environment particularly around issues of workplace conflict and bullying and has worked with AFL Victoria. Murray also has significant experience in working with people who have experienced workplace trauma especially Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Murray has also experience working with people struggling with eating and weight related issues including Binge Eating Disorder. Murray has previously worked at Eating Disorders Victoria and has a particular interest in body image for both men and women. Murray works with a variety of interventions dependant on the client’s personality style and presenting problem. He frequently works with interventions such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and uses mindfulness techniques where possible.
