Michael a titled Sports Physiotherapist with a special interest in shoulders, having completed a Masters in Physical Therapy at the University of Alverta in Canada, the focus of which was the shoulder.
He also worked closely with world renowned shoulder Physiotherapist, Lyn Watson, in Melbourne for 3 years and was involved in research investigating stiff shoulders and shoulders with multidirectional instability.
More recently Michael has developed a particular interest in the management of stiff shoulders combining soft tissue and manual techniques with exercise, in conjunction with a hydrodilatation procedure where deemed appropriate. The hydrodilatation is performed at specialized radiology clinics and is requested by the GP or Sports Physician.
Michael has over 20 years experience as a Physiotherapist in private practice and has been working at Results Physiotherapy since 2000. His hobbies include spending time with his young family, paddling, swimming, cycling, running & bush walking.
