Since becoming a psychologist, I've had experiences I've found invaluable in community, forensic, addiction, general psychiatry and employment settings. In recent years my focus has been on working with the deeper issues involved in addiction, personality difficulties, developmental trauma, and dissociation. On the days I'm not engaged in private practice, I supervise other psychologists and perform quality assurance services.
The most fulfilling part of my work with clients is sharing their journeys toward mental health and resilience. I integrate the most helpful and evidence-based treatment techniques available, tailored to an individual's unique needs. These include (but are not limited to) techniques from CBT, DBT, mindfulness, schema therapy, ego state therapy and ACT.
As a Medicare registered clinical psychology provider, my clients can claim rebates where they have a valid Mental Health Care Plan through a GP.
