James graduated from the University of Western Sydney podiatry course in 2006 with honours. He has worked in all aspects of podiatry in clinics in the Hawkesbury, Nepean and Blue Mountains. James has enjoyed being part of the team at Blue Mountains Podiatry, appreciating the active and outdoor focus of many of his clients – young and old. James has a good understanding of evidence based practice. His research has involved the diabetic foot, lower limb biomechanics, and in-shoe pressure sensor equipment. He has previously been part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team offering their services around Bourke, NSW with a focus on children and indigenous health.

Special interests– James likes treating people who have, or aim to have, an active lifestyle. He often utilises soft tissue therapy including massage, stretching and strapping techniques. He has a keen eye for prescribing orthotic devices based on an analysis of foot function and the way you walk.
