Igor has been an Optometrist since 2015, graduating from the University of Melbourne with a Doctor of Optometry. He enjoys all aspects of Optometry particularly disease management.
Recently relocating back to sunny Queensland after having spent 8 years studying and working in Melbourne, Igor is looking forward to serving the Redlands community and gaining valuable experience.
Igor undertook his training in Biomedical Science at Griffith University on the Gold Coast before pursuing a postgraduate doctorate at the University of Melbourne in 2012. He has worked all around Australia travelling to rural and regional areas for relief, and even undertook part of his training in Hereford, England.
Igor is a member of the Optometrists Association of Australia, the Australian College of Behavioural Optometrists, and the Contact Lens Society of Australia. He has also undertaken postgraduate study in Myopia Management and is therapeutically endorsed to prescribe ocular medications.
