Over 10 years on from first starting as a Physiotherapist I love making a positive impact on people’s lives now more than ever. I love the ethos of taking people beyond just injury recovery to achieve their goals and aspirations, be that to compete in a top level sport or simply to enjoy playing with their children. I am also privileged enough to work with an energized and enthusiastic team who I feel all challenge and compliment each other exceptionally well. I love the fact that it is more than just a job and that everyone is committed to improving the lives of those around them as much as their own. After graduating from the University of Otago in 2004 I started at a busy sports clinic working with elite rugby union and softball players. I moved over to Australia in 2011 to work with more complex injuries and have enjoyed the challenge and the rewards with watching people achieve things they thought was well beyond them. In the winter you will generally find me shouting the kiwi teams on while watching Super Rugby, while in the summer I enjoy spending time relaxing on a beach or exploring New South Wales National Parks. Fitness is a passion throughout the year and I am a firm believer in practicing what I preach, spending time working on improving strength and running technique and always trying to achieve that elusive work/life balance.
