Daniel is a full time physiotherapist here at Sydney West Sports Medicine. He graduated from the inaugural year of the Physiotherapy program at the Australian Catholic University, where he received several academic commendations from the National Head of School. He is a current member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association and Sports Physiotherapy Association and has a particular interest in treating pain arising from the Lumbo-pelvic region, as well as headaches and migraines.

He has spent his career working in the private sector, treating the athletic and general population, as well as injured workers under the NSW WorkCover system. He aims to assist with optimizing recovery, progressing patients through a guided rehabilitation program and restoring their pre-injury level of function to ensure an effective return to the sporting and working environments.

Daniel currently works with Gymnastics NSW as a physiotherapist, providing coverage for the Men’s and Women’s Artistic, Rhythmic, Acrobatic, Trampoline and Aerobic gymnasts of all ages in their respective competitions. He also works with the NSW High Performance Men’s and Women’s Artistic Gymnastics programs, managing both acute and chronic injuries and monitoring training load in these athletes. He has travelled with the NSW Men’s and Women’s Artistic Gymnastics State teams to the Australian National Gymnastics Championships.

Aside from his involvement in gymnastics, Daniel has also worked closely over the past 3 years as the head physiotherapist for Bankstown City Netball Association. Here he provides coverage for the local club level competitions, as well as representative level competitions at State Age, State Championships and Masters Events.

He leads a very active lifestyle and has had his fair share of injuries and as such, Daniel understands the rigors that are placed on the body with sport and exercise. He utilizes his knowledge and skills in manual therapy, dry needling and specific exercise based rehabilitation to deliver optimal results for his patients.
