Each doctor acts independently within the group determining their own practice structure and fees. Full-time secretarial staff are essential to communicate with patients and other medical specialists and their practices. Telephone, fax, e-mail and the internet are all used to assist patients peri-operatively to co-ordinate their increasingly complex anaesthetic and surgical care.
The group allows exchange of ideas and opportunities to maintain and enhance knowledge in anaesthesia. Maintaining professional standards is a requirement and is encouraged within the group.
