Louise graduated from The University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) in 2003. Since graduating Louise has worked in a variety of health settings at The Canberra Hospital, in Community Health Centres, injury prevention & management unit in ACT Health and in private practice around Canberra gaining experience in musculoskeletal and orthopaedic conditions. Louise began working in the specialty area of hand physiotherapy in 2006 and was soon to realise that this is where her interest laid. In 2013 Louise completed USA based specialisation exams in hand therapy to become the first Certified Hand Therapist in Canberra. In 2010 Louise established a hand physiotherapy service at SportsCare and Physiotherapy, originally at Garran in partnership with the University of Canberra Physiotherapy student led clinic. A few years later the clinic was relocated to Barton and is now a hand clinic team with 4 hand therapists. The speciality service expanded to the north side of Canberra in partnership with Ochre Health at the Bruce campus in 2015. Louise works across both clinic locations.
