In the 1990s, after completing a Bachelor of Science with majors in Psychology and Physiology at Monash University, I went on to do a Graduate Diploma in Applied Child Psychology at R.M.I.T. I subsequently completed a Masters of Science (Psychiatry) at the University of Melbourne, based predominantly at Austin Health and specializing in the areas of Depression and Anxiety.
I went on to do a further 3 years working and studying in the area of Post-Natal Depression and its effects on both mothers and fathers. I engaged in supervised work experience within the psychiatric wards of Austin Health before becoming a fully registered Psychologist.
In more recent years I had further training in Clinical Psychology at ACU and received a clinical endorsement from AHPRA.
On a personal note, I am married and the mother of two children.
