Julie is a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist who offer services to adults (18+ years). She has expertise in a broad range of evidence-based therapies which she delivers with a warm, compassionate and empathic style. Julie places great importance on getting to know each client's unique needs and circumstances, while working side by side with them to help them achieve their goals.
Julie has a strong interest in the anxiety disorders (in particular social anxiety and panic), as well as post and antenatal depression. She also has a special interest in the area of trauma, assisting people to process their traumatic experiences and re-build a sense of safety, stability, trust and self-worth. Julie is also highly experienced in the treatment of depression, self-esteem and relationship issues, clinical perfectionism, anger and stress, and emotion regulation difficulties.
Julie holds a First Class Honours Degree and was awarded the Australian Psychological Society Prize in 2008. She has also authored a book chapter and a number of peer reviewed journal articles on the subject of Body Image in Adult Women.
