Immogen is a person-centred psychologist who strives to assist her clients in developing self-insight and freedom from restrictive emotional and psychological patterns. Immogen works with a number of therapeutic approaches (including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Interpersonal Psychotherapy) and strives to tailor her approach to each individual client. In particular, Immogen works from an Emotion-Focused perspective and is currently completing training to become an internationally recognised Emotion Focused Therapist. Immogen is passionate about helping clients to understand the function of their emotions and achieve a healthy and functional emotional system. Immogen is experienced working with adolescents and adults from a diverse range of cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. Immogen has worked in a number of settings including student counselling, addiction treatment, and family violence services.
