The day hospital has been designed to provide the best possible environment for the specialist procedures we undertake including:

HSDH is managed by a team of highly experienced nurses, administrative, and support staff; the same team from the former TasIVF location at St Helen’s Private Hospital.
As a day hospital, all patients admitted for a procedure are discharged home the same day which typically incorporates a stay of 4-6 hours. With fewer surgeries being performed each day compared to large hospitals, patients enjoy the benefit of more intimate care and since no patients stay overnight we can offer highly competitive surgery rates. A shorter hospital stay, early mobilisation and experienced nurse-led follow up also means patients can comfortably recover in the familiar surrounds of their own home.
