Our group was formed to provide the North Shore and Inner West of Sydney with a highly specialised hand physiotherapy team. They are passionate about providing evidence-based care for their clients with finger, hand and wrist conditions.
Strongly focused on research, our hand physiotherapists are actively involved with research and regularly present at meetings and conferences. The aim is to help develop the hand therapy community in Inner West & North Shore Sydney, Australia and overseas.
Hand Therapy Associates adopts a collaborative approach with their colleagues and referring doctors. Our team has extensive experience in treating elite sports people, complex hand trauma, degenerative disease and chronic hand injuries.
Dedicated to the Profession of Hand Therapy Our hand physiotherapists are dedicated to ongoing teaching and research in Hand Therapy. All our staff are active members of the Australian Hand Therapy Association and are currently involved with research.
Our therapists are also Certified Hand Therapists (USA) and Accredited Hand Therapists (as awarded by the AHTA). The credentialing of “Accredited Hand Therapist” is a guarantee for the community that their treating professional is qualified to provide safe, evidence-based diagnosis, advice and treatment.
Hand Therapy Associates – welcoming patients from North Shore, Inner West Sydney and Beyond As a hand and upper limb physiotherapist, Ray and Michele consult with patients from across Sydney, from Chatswood to Balmain regarding complex hand and upper limb conditions. We provide thorough assessment, rehabilitation and management and can make customised splints and provide exercises that increase flexibility and strength. Ensuring every client is given an individual home treatment programme and advice is our focus.
