The practice was established in 2014 and provides exceptional services to our patients in clinical haematology, research and clinical trials. Haematology West has a trained practice nurse, who performs minor procedures and provides education and support to patients and their families.
We provide services for those with blood and bone marrow disorders, as well as the treatment of malignant conditions. Our haematologists provide specialist treatment of malignant conditions such as myeloproliferative disorders, myelodysplastic syndromes, myeloma, lymphoma and leukaemia.
Patients with blood and bone marrow disorders such as anaemia, iron deficiency and iron overload, clotting disorders and bleeding disorders are also treated by our haematologists.
We have working collaborations with many other specialists and laboratories to provide high quality patient care.
Haematology West is located on the same campus as Hollywood Private Hospital which provides our patients with excellent, comprehensive inpatient care. Hollywood Private Hospital employs specialised haematology and oncology trained staff members to ensure the highest level of care for our patients.
