Each Geelong Gastroenterology Consultant provides individualised, expert care in a range of gastrointestinal disorders such as inflammatory bowel disease, gastro-oesophageal reflux disease, coeliac disease, irritable bowel syndrome, and both alcoholic and non-alcoholic liver diseases. In-patient care is provided to patients at St John of God Hospital, Geelong Private Hospital and the Geelong Public Hospital. All hospitals have state of the art modern facilities.

Diagnostic and therapeutic procedures undertaken include Gastroscopy, Colonoscopy, Capsule Endoscopy, ERCP and Endoscopic Ultrasound. Gastroenterologists at Geelong Gastroenterology are all experienced senior consultants appointed to the Geelong Hospital Gastroenterology Unit. They are all senior clinical lecturers at Deakin University Medical School and are actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching as well as in clinical research.
