Fina obtained her Masters of clinical psychology from the Cairnmillar Insitute. She has worked as a psychologist in both Australia and Indonesia. During this time, Fina has gained a wide range of experience counselling individuals and groups. She has worked with clients from children and adolescents through to adults in a number of different settings, such as private practice, a community health centre, primary and secondary school settings and an University setting. Fina also has experience working in several Hospital and Non-Government Organisations in Indonesia. Fina sees clients with a wide range of issues, such as self-esteem, body image, anger management, parenting problems, anxiety, depression, loneliness, domestic violence, drug and alcohol issues, behavioural issues, developmental disorders, relationship issues, as well as grief and loss. Fina has an interest in eating disorders and psychological distress related to migration. Fina utilises a variety of evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Narrative and Psychodynamic frameworks, as and when these are appropriate for the client’s circumstances. Fina is fluent in both English and Indonesian and is an associate member of the Australian Psychological Society. Fina works from our Brandon Park offices. Fina is on Maternity leave and will return to seeing clients in late 2017.
