Dr Tai graduated from the University of Melbourne and did his dermatology training in Melbourne and the UK.
He is a Fellow of The Australasian College of Dermatologists (ACD) since 2009 after being awarded the college's Travelling Scholarship as the most meritorious candidate in the fellowship exam. He completed his Fellowship in Mohs surgery in June 2011 where he continues to work with particular interest in skin cancer surgery. Dr Tai has worked 9 years as a consultant dermatologist and is highly experienced in Mohs micrographic surgery and facial reconstruction, with over 4,000 cases of Mohs surgery performed. Dr Tai is an active member in the dermatology community taking on the role of Director of Training for the WA faculty of Dermatology. He has a public appointment at Royal Perth Hospital and is well published in highly regarded dermatology journals.
