After graduating from the University of Queensland in 1985, Dr Storie trained at the Princess Alexandra Hospital and at Greenslopes Private Hospital. He has had a 20 year association with the prestigious Hypertension Unit at GPH.
He has worked in the fields of Emergency Medicine and Intensive Care in the private sector. Dr Storie has had a very long association with the University of Queensland and has taught legions of medical students, junior doctors and training specialists. He held the role of Clinical Lecturer at the Department of Medicine at the Greenslopes Campus for a number of years.
He trained in Internal Medicine and Hypertension at GPH and PAH. He also has a strong background in Pharmacology, Endocrinology and Vascular Medicine. He finished his physician training in 1999.
Dr Storie enjoys managing complex multi-system medical problems and is especially interested in hypertension and cardiovascular disease. He enjoys his medicine and practises with a strong evidence-based approach and integrity.
Dr Storie consults privately at the Brisbane Clinic, Greenslopes Specialist Rooms and has a public hospital appointment at the Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Hospital.
