Dr Bandara is a General Practitioner at Promed Family Clinic, who obtained her medical degree from the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka where she trained in a range of medical specialties and worked for over 17 years to gather a wealth of knowledge and experience. She moved to Adelaide in 2012 to practice as a GP and obtained Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Dr Bandara enjoys the wide variety that General Practice offers. Her special interests are Womens' Health with a focus on Gynaecological issues, Contraception including insertion and removal of Implanon and all forms of Intra Uterine Devices ( IUD). She also has a passion for Antenatal Care, Children's and Adolescent Health and mental health.
Dr Bandara also does minor skin procedures and Iron Infusions. Dr Bandara is trilingual, speaking English Sinhalese and Tamil fluently.
