Dr Werner Van Vuuren completed his basic medical training in Cape Town and completed specialist training in 2003. He obtained his FRACP in 2009. Dr Van Vuuren spent five years in private practice where he managed an ICU and a variety of acute medical patients. From 2008-2013 he worked at Caloundra Private Hospital as a general physician. Dr Van Vuuren also has a VMO position at Nambour General Hospital.
His special interests are acute/sub-acute medical illness, pre-operative assessment and peri-operative care.
