Dr King studied Medicine at the University of Sydney and graduated in 1989 with Honours. She worked for two years at Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney and then joined the Family Medicine Program. After completing the Program, Dr King passed the Fellowship examination in 1994 and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 1995.
Dr King has been an Examiner for the RACGP Clinical Exam for about the last 15 years and was appointed Assessment Panel Chair, NSW, in October 2012. In this capacity, she oversees the Fellowship Exam in NSW and is involved in preparing candidates and training Examiners.
Dr King has been working as a GP in Northbridge since January 1994 with a few breaks to have children! She enjoys seeing patients of all ages with both acute and chronic health care needs.
