 Vivienne Sobon trained at the National Acoustics Laboratories and worked as an audiologist at Princess Margaret Hospital, Royal Perth Hospital and at various Ear, Nose and Throat practices. She founded Hearing and Audiology in 1985 – the first private audiology clinic in Western Australia. For over 30 years she has been providing exceptional hearing services to the people of Perth and Geraldton. Viv is so passionate about helping people hear better, she has inspired her daughter Zoe and son Gabe to follow in her footsteps. Both are now clinicians and part owners at Hearing and Audiology. Viv has a special interest in tinnitus and hyperacusis. She has been involved in tinnitus treatments since they were first developed and has trained with world renown tinnitus expert Pawel Jastreboff, as well as with the creators of Neuromonics, a highly successful tinnitus treatment. Viv has an active social life and enjoys traveling. She is an avid reader and practices meditation and stays fit by doing lots of walking.
