Dr Perera completed his medical graduation in 2001. He practiced General Medicine, Paediatrics, Gynaecology and Obstetrics at Colombo South Teaching Hospital. He obtained further training in Paediatrics and completed his Diploma in Child Health through University of Colombo in 2004. Dr Perera worked at Moratuwa District Hospital covering Emergency care, General Surgery, Psychiatry, Elderly Medicine and General Practice from 2003 to 2005. He has worked as a part time General Practitioner since 2003. He moved to Australia in 2005 and started working as a General Practitioner in Queensland. Dr Perera completed his Australian Medical Council exam in 2007 and Obtained membership of the Australian college of General Practitioners in 2008. He currently offers many General Practice Health Services.
