Dr Tod Owen joined the Clare Medical Centre in February 2003 and is a GP surgeon and Obstetrician.

Born at Elliston on the Eyre Peninsula, Tod grew up in country South Australia. He did his university and GP training in Adelaide, and expanded his surgical and obstetrics skills at Flinders Medical Centre, Modbury Hospital and Darwin. His medical interests include obstetrics, surgery and musculo-skeletal medicine.

Tod regularly conducts theatre for minor surgery at the Clare hospital. These include carpal tunnel repairs, vasectomies, hernia repairs and skin grafts. Tod is known for his colourful sense of humour and easy-going nature.

Tod is married with three children. His personal interests involve playing Tennis, Football, Four-Wheel Driving and the Port Power Football Club!
