Dr Thiri Soe obtained her medical degree in 2005 from the University of Medicine in Yangon, Myanmar. From 2011, she moved to Australia and worked in Alice Springs Hospital as a resident medical officer for 3 years in Accident and Emergency, Obstetric & Gynaecology, General Medicine, and Surgery. During this time she also gained experience in Rehabilitation Medicine and Psychiatry.

From 2014, she undertook general practice training in Darwin and became a fellow of Royal Australian College of GPs (FRACGP) in 2017.

Dr Thiri Soe is interested in all aspects of general practice with special interests in women's and children's health, mental health, and chronic disease management. In her strive for constant improvement in her medical knowledge and skills, Dr. Soe has completed additional courses including:
