Dr Hayes moved to Warrnambool after completing speciality training at Monash University and the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in 2003. In that time she has been pivotal in expanding cancer services in the region. She introduced a clinical trial program in 2009, offering national and international studies to patients in our region. She also initiated multi-disciplinary cancer team meetings in 2008. She is a founding member of Peter's Project, responsible for bringing radiotherapy services to the region. Dr. Hayes has brought to South West Oncology, her experience in treating a wide range of tumour types but has expertise in bowel, breast, lung and neuroendocrine tumours (eg: carcinoid). Terri is a senior clinical lecturer at Deakin University and a BSWRICS Governance committee member.
