Dr Tun completed his medical degree in 1981, developing a knack for surgery. He gained most of his surgical experience in South Africa where he operated as a General Surgeon. He obtained his Fellowship from The Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) in 2003 and then became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2006. Dr Tun worked in Currumbin Waters and Southport, before taking a leap of faith and starting his own medical centre - Chevron Advanced Medical - in 2012. Dr Tun is now a General Practitioner who performs minor operations such as removal of skin cancers, lumps and bumps, no-scalpel vasectomy and male adult circumcisions on the Gold Coast.
