Tej graduated with MBBS from the Australian National University (ANU) in Canberra in 2011. Since then he has spent several years working in the hospital system mainly in the areas of Intensive Care and General Medicine (covering a lot of chronic heart and lung conditions) at both the QEII and Mater Hospitals in Brisbane. Tej also has an interest in sports and musculoskeletal medicine, and in 2016 he completed a Graduate Certificate in Sports Medicine with UQ. This goes hand in hand with his interest in preventative medicine, which he believes is an essential component to optimise one’s quality of life.
