Dr Zappala studied medicine at the University of New South Wales, trained with the Australasian College of Dermatology in Brisbane and has worked in the United Kingdom and Australia. She currently works in private practice in Brisbane, as well as the Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital.
Dr Zappala is a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatology, an associate lecturer at the University of Queensland and is extensively published.
